For the last year, Delegation President, Beth Fluke and her team have been planning the 2016 Delegation for Friendship Among Women visit to women in Mongolia. The fruits of planning, many emails and phone calls, visits to the Mongolian Embassy and State Department in Washington D.C. and coordination with travel partner, Nomadic Expeditions are ripening.
The Delegation of 18 will arrive in Ulaanbataar, capitol city of Mongolia next week for about ten days of stimulating meetings, visits with individual women, cultural sites and an opportunity to experience first hand the contrast between ancient traditions and a 21st century democracy.
The Delegation has been visiting countries since 1967 with a focus on developing friendship among women that has resulted in lasting relationships and expanded opportunities for members of the delegation and women in the countries visited.
